RITA JANEKE-OWNER/COSMETOLOGIST

When I graduated from Cosmetology College in 1965, I could not imagine that I would still be as actively involved in this industry as I am now in 2012. I am so grateful that my health, my energy and help from a great team has allowed me to make that statement. It has been a challenging yet fulfilling profession. My husband, Paul has been a wonderful business partner and our daughter Tes, is our right arm in the management of our successful salon. Our staff is highly talented and dedicated to providing top quality professional services to our many loyal clients.

Paul and I have 4 daughters, 11 grandchildren, and feel very blessed with good health and continued success. We thank the Aveda Corporation for providing us with the best beauty products in the world. We humbly abide by the Aveda Mission statement.

TESSA VANVUUREN-SALON MANAGER/CERTIFIED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Hi, I’m Tes and I love massage – giving and receiving (of course)! I received my Certificate in Massage Therapy in 1999 and have taken continuing education in Deep Tissue, Occipital Release, Sports Therapy, Myofascial Release, Esalen, Comfort Touch, and Pre-natal and infant massage. I am so privileged to work with the most talented and loyal stylists in the metro area! The energy here at Rita J’s is positive and fun. We have the best clients in the world!! Rita and I have worked very hard to make this a fun and successful family business which is also one of the original Aveda Salons in Colorado. JANET HARMON/MASTER STYLIST

Originally from Sturgis, SD, Janet is a Colorado girl all the way. She is an Aveda Specialist with 15 years of exclusive Aveda experience. After a few years traveling, Janet is back at Rita J's to stay! She specializes in extensions, highlights, color & color corrections. She also excels in men's and women's cuts, manicures, pedicures, and perms. Janet will win your heart with both her skills,as well as her fun-loving personality!

STACEY PACHECO/MASTER STYLIST

Stacey Pacheco is a rare gem of an extremely talented stylist and a genuinely caring woman. Her passion is her family and making you look and feel amazing! She is also an Aveda Specialist with 13 years of exclusive Aveda experience, and has a beautiful portfolio. She loves doing wedding hair and makeup, as well as all special occasions, but this girl can do it all!

COURTNEY NELSON/MASTER STYLIST

Courtney Nelson not only meets, but exceeds the high standards for stylists here at Rita J's. She recently moved to Golden from Brighton, Co. and has truly found her new home. You will enjoy every minute you are in Courtney's chair, and you will tell all your friends to come see this girl. She gives perfect precision cuts for the whole family, and her expertise in color is top-notch!
